In the mail today

I got two boxes from my mom.

One had five boxes of brownie mix.

The other had three boxes of cake mix and three tubs of icing.

There was a sale at her grocery store, you see.

And doesn't that just make perfect sense?

    Yep, she knows I'm on a diet. And she knows how much Chloe loves to cook, so that's what she was thinking of :)

    Of course it makes sense! Lane's mom is always sending us random things. Someone at her work asked her once why she was boxing up fruit snacks for us - "Is that something they cannot find there?" No, not at all. She just wants to share with her grandkids the things they love. Of course, it's up to me to hand it out in manageable portions so we have many, many boxes of goodies stashed way up high in our pantry waiting for appropriate moments.
