Note to self

When hardboiling eggs over very high heat, it is helpful to have water in the pan.

There is much less popping and exploding.

Not to mention the smell.

  2. Yuck! I did the same thing while making hummingbird food today. Boiled it right down down to nothing. I'm sure this is nothing compared to the hard boiled egg fiasco.

  3. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ! Again...you are making me laugh today.
    When I was pregnant I put something in the microwave and decided it needed a cover...I could not figure out why there were sparks.....duh!! I covered it with a metal lid!!

  4. oops!!! Grace and I once tried to cook rice without any water... definitely not as messy or stinky, but disappointing to come home hungry and find that the food isn't ready!
