A blank canvas, a wide open space

Ok, seriously. I have nothing to write about. I have been wracking my brain trying to think of something funny, but my days lately, well, they haven't been exciting.

The most thought-provoking thing in my life right now is what sort of bed to buy Luke. And I am really struggling over this. The movers lost pieces of his toddler bed and he has been sleeping on his mattress on the ground since we moved! And I just can't decide- should we get him a regular twin like Chloe's? If we have more kids or adopt this would give us the most space.

Or we could get a full-size bed, which we already have a mattress for in the garage. Then it could serve as a guest bed when family comes and Luke could sleep in Chloe's room.

And I won't even get started on the various bunk beds.

It's riveting stuff, I know.

In other news, our personal financial information has been stolen for the third time! Tomorrow I have to place a fraud alert and order copies of our credit reports. Again!

Oh, my dad is coming to visit for a week, and we are going to paint one wall in my living room, and paint and install cabinets in my laundry room. Is anyone out there good at decorating and painting? Because I really need some advice. There are all sorts of funky niches and cutouts in my house and I just can't decide which walls to paint and which to leave white. But I did decide on a color- the one on the very right.

Maybe tomorrow I'll take some pictures of my walls and see what ya'll think I should do with them.

Hey, wow! Personal information stolen? Here's my week:

We are planning on leaving for Denver Tuesday morning to see my husband. Did I say are? Were.

Saturday, my parents came up. They can't climb over seats in the minivan so well, so I let my dad drive. He took the key home...four hours away. I'd go get it. If I had a key.

So they mailed it. And I'm worried. It has a chip in it. Replacing it costs $52 for the key, $85 to reprogram the car's computer plus who knows how much to have it towed into the dealership to do this.

Saturday I also left my purse at the University. I called today and no one had a clue how to check if it were in the room, or even where it would have been turned in to.

So Tuesday night I will have to ask my daughter's karate instructor and drive out there Wednesday evening during the karate class to pick it up.

So now we are leaving for Denver on Thursday.

Assuming the key gets here.

Assuming my purse is safe and sound.

That is a lot of assumptions.

And all I can do is sit here and wait.

Oh, I started this because that personal information thing...well, that is my fear. Nothing appears to have happened, and I would think it would have happened by now, but I don't need that on top of it!

Loving that color! I love COLOR and not just blank walls. Great choice.

Sorry to hear about that personal identity stuff. I have not had that happen, but imagine it is a huge headache!

How is someone getting ahold of your information? Just wondering if we need to batten down the hatches here.

I love your sofa. Red, what a cheery color.

the bed question, we pondered that one for a while. Out of the options you listed, personally I think buying a full bed frame sounds like a great idea.
